The Rabbits! A crazy, but crazy fun group of 5 year olds!

As we've had a few days away from the kids, I've had time to reflect on my experience further and just how much I'm going to miss my 12 bundles of energy in my homeroom class, as well as all 52 or so kids in the kindergarten school when I leave next week. The best part of this trip for me has not been the shopping malls, or sightseeing, or souvenir buying. It has been engaging with young students, and seeing their faces light up when they see us; it has been the sound of excited squeals when something that we're teaching them clicks with them in English; it is the pure excitement and wonder they hold for school. These kids; especially my "little rabbits," my homeroom class, have made a tremendous impact on me and I will never forget all that they've taught me in the short amount of time I've had with them. Thank you kids for the laughs, smiles, high-fives, energy, and infectious personalities. I can't wait to spend the second week finding out more about my students, and enjoying the time I have left with them! - Kelsey Younce
